I was so happy with finding tools from dmitrybrant.com, and decided to try out another of his tools, FATWalker. The description says it all … FATWalker is a simple, straightforward, and most importantly free utility for analyzing and “walking through” FAT partitions on any media readable by your computer, including hard disks, memory cards, USB flash drives, and floppy disks.

Simple and easy, most importantly portable. Especially when someone comes into the office and ask us to recover his files. Instead of firing up these tools. I just need to fire up this tool and do a preview before I get down to recover those files.
